Since our founding, we have developed our automobile and motorcycle instrument design and manufacturing technologies to evolve interfaces that support the automotive industry, responding to the demands of each era. This progress is the result of the support from our customers, business partners, shareholders, local communities, and all stakeholders, including our employees, for which we express our sincere gratitude.
The 80 years our company has walked is also a history in which the relationship between people and cars has undergone significant changes. And now, these changes are progressing at an unprecedented speed and scale.
In the automotive industry, with the advancement of CASE and SDV, the core domain of competition has expanded beyond hardware to include software, data, and system integration capabilities. Furthermore, the environment surrounding our company is becoming increasingly complex, with factors such as decarbonization and the impact on supply chains due to rising geopolitical risks.
In this era, our company’s role is to evolve the connections that link people with mobility and people with society, transforming invisible movements and conditions into tangible value, and providing safety and inspiration to people. In 2024, we established a new corporate philosophy with the purpose of "contributing toward a safe and sustainable future." This represents our company’s raison d'être and an unchanging guiding principle for the future.
We will contribute to the realization of a sustainable society by enhancing the safety and comfort of mobility through products and services such as automobile and motorcycle instruments and head-up displays (HUD).
Additionally, we will focus on expanding motorcycle instruments in emerging markets, improving the profitability of automobile instruments and HUD, and creating new businesses, thereby enhancing corporate value through the dual pillars of "strengthening earning power" and "improving capital efficiency." Furthermore, based on the belief that diverse human resources are the driving force behind sustainable growth, we will support the challenges and growth of each employee and promote the development of an organization resilient to change.
